Former Taoiseach Bertie Ahern (left) with American diplomat, Senator George Mitchell and his wife Heather in 1998
On The Ray D’Arcy Show...
Sinéad Harrington writes:
Twenty years on from the Good Friday Agreement former Taoiseach Bertie Ahern and Senator George Mitchell will take us behind the scenes of what really happened during those crucial negotiations at Stormont.
In their first live TV interview since winning Dancing With the Stars Jake Carter and dance partner Karen Byrne will chat to Ray about becoming champions and sharing a few of the secrets to their success.
The brilliant Brennan brothers, John and Francis, will be in studio to reveal what they’ve learned over their 10 seasons of At Your Service…
And there’ll be laughter with Pat Shortt who joins Ray straight from his performance in ‘How’s Tings’ in the Pavillion in Dun Laoghaire.

Re-introducing Ahern to polite society in order to pimp him for the FF presidency bid.
I hope he does run. I look forward to see him coming 5th behind Sharkey.

Needs more Grainne Carruth.
Another week of DTWS. This has to be the last of it!
Wasn’t he also special envoy to Middle East, success has many fathers and failure is an orphan….
Looking forward to the discussion on how he parlayed his role in NI into a very lucrative gig,at Alan Kelly’s bros controversial lobbying/influence peddling shop.

I love Francis Brennan… had the pleasure of meeting him once. He’d put a smile on anyone :)
+1
unique, great character altogether, hard worker too
Hopefully,Mitchell can shed some light on the 4 FTI chaps named in the INM19,Kelly was Executive Vice President and Chief Integration Officer of FTI Consulting (FTI).
He had a falling out with DOB over access to the Clintons,O’Dowd did a hatchet job here for whom?
A big question in NY Irish circles is who are the “mysterious” investors that own O’Dowds rag,who he refuses to name.
I’m sure Mitchell can shed some light on it all,as he’s a ubiquitous presence at every Irish American event in NY and Boston.
