The Zagato 356 Carrera Speedster – a hardtop (and coupé) recreation (based on photometric records) of a car originally ordered by Ferdinand Porsche for French racing driver Claude Storez in 1957 that was subsequently destroyed in a 1959 crash.
Nine examples of each have been made.

I’m more than just a little turned on by that.
The coupe reminds me of the infamous James Dean car but I’m not really into cars so I might be way off…
now why don’t they make cars with those sort of lines any more?
We’re getting heftier, looking for screens, refrigeration, heated seats – no one wants beauty and purity of purpose anymore, just a living room on wheels.
I’m seeing bits of db4, dino, xke, 356, karmann ghia and even a little e-type.
Whats not to like.
