Great opportunity seized by Electric Ireland. Genius marketing! Someone should be getting a raise! Give that person a hug!

+5km New route around Sligo this year for any Northwesterners so it’ll be nice to be getting up in the middle of the night for something worthwhile.

I love this event. I started doing it at a very dark time in my life and it was a very moving and uplifting experience.

And Pieta House are a wonderful service. They have saved countless lives.

    Maybe lets start with society?
    Symbolic gestures mean nothing
    Its change in society
Ireland has developed into a very nasty place where no one can have an opinion and governance is now a SCUinit where viciously if you do not get on with the programme you are belittled lambasted and ostracised
Suicide is a direct result of the way this country is
We need to go back and change our ways
We can march till the cows come home ,it will achieve nothing
    We need change

        Did I strike a nerve?
        Its the truth
And our past the silent victims that even today cannot get redress
A state that refuses to make the church pay
A state that tolerates home less families and compared to what?
The Brits in northern Ireland? The Brits that men and women fought to boot out and the years of sectarian violence only to give it all away
At least madam when you resort to p### off you only show your ignorance
Fact is post boom suicide rates have sky rocketed
        So lay off the juice

So you;re opposed to efforts to promote mental health awareness and raise money for mental health services because of, um, scattershot rambling rhetorical reasons?

Change by going back? Change back? To what? This DiL crowd have started their own society and are helping people. Do you mean changing society back to being socially controlled by you-know-who? Because if you are , ***k that.

      1. david

        by going back
        You learn from your mistakes
A more just and equal society is what I talk about
Not a selfish ruthless greedy society
        Where we blindly trust government
