PoppinsCon car park.
they’ve been there forever
For LovinDublin to post a pic of every second week when they run out of other peoples pics to steal.
They’re for keeping the rain off people walking below
It’s a drug thing. Dealers used to throw a pair of runners over the wires to mark their territory.
Anne’s Lane is a contentious area between the notorious Ombrello Rosso and the infamous Dawson ‘Brolly’ Sisters
Makes for fantastic price wars too

I’m no rat – I’ll never give up my sources!
Probably from the poncy art gallery at the top of the lane.
Yeah, definitely not.
Might be someone on the Late Late this week to explain so do stay in for some mindnumbing 160 per annum entertainment
I thought it was something Zozimus (the bar) put up. Art.
..put up…put up;
tsk – “curated” surely.
Yup, they were put up by zozimus when it opened. They get destroyed and replaced every so often. Wind wrecks them quite a bit.
Yeah they were put up by Zozimus, i think it’s more to get people to actually walk up the lane seeing that it’s a cul de sac.
In case it rains. Duh.
I think the original idea comes from this art festival in Agueda, Portugal:
