Taxpayers, this is for you, are you happy to hear that your taxes are paying for a private rented accommodation through the HAP Scheme [The Housing Assistance Payment] that is rat infested? For €825 per month you could live here too..

Keeping the recovery going, bravo fg, bravo
Last time i had mice in my privately owned house, I called up my local FG TD and he personally came out with some cheese and a mousetrap.
True story.
Probably claimed the cheese back as an expense. I bet it wasnt an easy single anyway
rats
resilient dirty nasty pointless, they’re what the back of a spade are made for
if that’s what the furniture in the sitting room looks like I’d depart the scene as quickly as your legs can take you. betcha the wiring in the attic cavities is interesting (they love a good oul chew on wires) & we won’t talk about the wastepipe possibilities.
Did the rats know it was a HAP scheme house? Did they avoid the non HAP scheme next door?
They didn’t give a rats.
@Cian
they’re smart c___s so I’d say it’s possible
Get a cat. The little bastards wouldn’t have hung around for long.
We had to do that with one of the places we lived a few years ago. Now, we are cat people.
or a Jack Russel :) 3 in one hour is mines record
3 Jack Russells seems a tad excessive

at one stage I had a Pointer a Shepard and my Jackie, great for clearing a path on a run
As long as they’re paying their fair share, and not stealing your marmalade…
Oh God!! Ugh rats freak me out. That is really disgusting levels of housing neglect
DIRECT BUILD SOCIAL HOUSING NOW
WITH SIGNS OUTSIDE (AT RAT-HEIGHT} SAYING “NO RATS ALLOWED”
Where’s the proof of any of this.
I find all the hair around the hole more of a quandary. (thats what she said etc etc)
Surely this should be story about just how filthy and lazy people are, that rats are sharing the sofa and have a say as to whats on TV .
