Men! Save the unborn children from those godless harridans who will abort them just so they can fit in a dress!

oh good call! super split it is!!

read your comment about the Brunch yesterday, it was my favourite by a nose from Wibbly Wobbly Wonder…so true, Brunches fell off a cliff somewhere in the 90’s I reckon they doubled up the line that handle Fish Fingers or something..they’ve been a longtime poor product

here one from the memory banks is Captain Quench, anyone remember?

Are super splits the ones with orange over icecream? If, so, YUCK!
I used to love JRs. Half purple, half orange. And That-a-ways. They were handy as well as tasty.
          I don’t remember Captain Quenches.

JR? was that one of those Dale Farm yokes? I don’t remember it but you had me at purple anyway :)

I’m stressed over the referendum and all I can do is bake. Pecan praline brownies anyone?

            Indeed you absolute plum fox.

I’ve grand plans for honey and almond cake this weekend. I don’t have time to do nice things like mid-week baking anymore.

  2. SOQ

I keep asking this question but nobody answers.

What exactly are they wanting to save? The doctors can’t agree on what the 8th is so how the hell are the rest of us supposed to know?

    1. Andyourpointiswhatexactly?

Doesn’t that refer just to the amendment? Ie they want it kept in?
Or do I misunderstand your question?

      1. SOQ

Yes the want to keep it in but what is ‘IT’? If you are a sick woman at the moment it appears that the treatment you will receive wholly depends on the subjective views of your consultant. I mean, what other area of medicine would allow such ambiguity?

        1. Andyourpointiswhatexactly?

Ok, gotcha. I know. I read that story in the IT yesterday about the lady who, when she arrived in the UK to have an abortion, was so ill the consultant was horrified that the Irish doctors had allowed her to travel.
This is why it shouldn’t be in our Constitution. I know other Articles are open to debate and interpretation but this is too important for ambiguity.

          1. SOQ

Doctors publicly arguing about it 30 years after it was introduced is shocking. It appears to be a roll of the dice as what treatment a woman gets?

Toasted cheese sandwiches and crisps this week. No food is enough…. sigh.

It’s quite clear that all the male related conflicts over the millennia of human history were really driven by female harridans whispering in their man’s ear.

Samson and Delilah, Adam and Eve, King David and yer wan he wanted the shift off so he made sure her husband got a spear in the temple (allegedly)…..hell, even Troy was destroyed over an argument over someones bird!

Although upon reflection, it seems the above are all fictional accounts written by….dum dum dum! MEN!

Am. Confused…..too much thinking, might need to crawl back into the safety of mythology were all difficult questions are answered by referring to some annoying vague mysteriousness on behalf of some MALE deity.

Now, much better, no more pesky thinking required!

      :)

Well at least this solider doesn’t appear to have an IDF uniform. The message would be even more devoid of irony.

All those children saved by the Ukrainian Navy. You have to delete the “the” though as it’s just Ukraine so saying that sentence makes you sound Russian, ironically enough.

          2. edalicious

@Andy, the ‘the’ is for the ‘uniform’ part. ‘Ukrainian’ is an adjective here.

          3. Steph Pinker

Mark, you don’t have to respond, I’m just being nosey, but have you represented Ireland in the Olympics as a member of the Shooting Team?

          4. Mark Dennehy

Not the navy lads, the Naval Infantry (their version of the marines).

Steph: No, I got as far as a few small international matches but then my son was born and I haven’t been able to train to the level I used to since (it’s hard to spend three hours on the range five days a week when you have kids)
