I thought I was pretty shockproof but I’ve found this and the murder of the 14 year old in Lucan last week very hard to get my head around.

Yes it makes an unwelcome change from the all the drug related gangland killings we’ve all become so unfazed by.

+1 Appalling stuff, really mind-numbingly cruel acts against young women like that.

interesting how the guards are trying to pin other murders (from many years back, no bodies ever found) on this guy. like if he had gotten away with it before, why would he be so messy and regretful this time.

It’s not “interesting”. It’s standard procedure. An act like this doesn’t come out of the blue and it’s possible that he has assaulted people before. It’s also possible that he hasn’t but they’d be foolish not to check.

I had this discussion tonight.. Ted Bundy fupped up in the end. Any one who was caught fupped up in some way.

I’d say the urges get the best of them and they can’t control themselves to plan it better.

He was driving around scouring for a victim in a few areas all that day.. it’s hardly likely these urges just all came on him that day.

The guards can’t pin anything on him without DNA.

I don’t understand what they are talking about re DNA and the disappeared women. They vanished into thin air, not a purse or a shoe found and no remains found so how can this suspect be linked DNA? Only if the women’s remains are found is the answer.
Journalists can write lots of gobblegook.
