Looks like it will go to a public vote. They can throw in equal marriage while they are at it, otherwise.explain why.

        That would be savage
        Wouldn’t it

        Ha!

Yes well, I do question why marriage was so easily put on the back burner by all the political parties but then again it is the North so I really shouldn’t be surprised.

It will be a long time before there are complainants of over active SJW’s up there.

i think we are missing a real opportunity for tourism to keep the north as an anachronism with all these weird laws and restrictions. getting arrested for holding hands with your same-sex partner, having a can on a street, swearing on a sunday – sure the marketing lads would have a field day. i believe it’s where the iona institute have their stag and hens parties anyway..

Let’s not forget flag waving, rioting and bomb fire building? I could get a Peace & Rec grant to set up a training school.

And if that went well I could do advanced courses in things like ‘funding for SFA’ and ‘neighbour intimidation’.

Still its good to see some have a sense of humour. There is actually a hotel in Belfast called Bullitt. https://bullitthotel.com

      Front page of the IT?

Every lead byline credit a woman. Wonder if that’s a first?

Any chance Donegal could opt out of the proposed change in abortion legislation ?
You know, being like Northern Ireland which didn’t vote Leave in the Brexit referendum and should be treated differently from the rest of the UK according to Remainers.
The hypocrisy of the Irish media is staggering.

Oh sure. You get Donegxit started and I’m sure it’ll go about as well as expected.

It must be hard being this bitter all the time. I mean, do you even get a tax deduction because of it?

Digital owes bondholders over 6.5 BILLION dollars, with 2 billion due inn 2020 and 1.3 in 2021.It’s not unreasonable to say they have been effectively shut out off US bond markets (yield on bonds over 20%),the IPO exit strategy is dead.
IT cut and pasted this on Friday (not a very busy newsday),Bloomberg just took it from behind its paywall-so its now available free.
As a keen Digicel watcher I’ve been eagerly waiting get my hands on this ‘presentation’,as a kinda homage I’ve offered two tickets to the US OPEN (Shinnecock) to the first bond market player that gets me a copy ( basically a bribe).
So I was surprised that Bloomberg had a piece on it, but it doesn’t look like Dara Doyle actually got his hands on a copy, but great reporting nonetheless.
As off Friday the presentation hadn’t hit the ‘street’,today its Memorial Day (mkts closed) in US, so it will be mid week before it gets circulated if it exists at all and wasn’t just some Mickey Mouse slide show.
If I held these bonds the level of cloak and dagger BS would concern me immensely,Digi if they had a ‘story’ would be shouting it from the roof tops or like Musk blaming a vast media conspiracy.
Anyway, here’s the latest piece (non paywall) on Digi.
