TV Presenter Amanda Byram at the launch of Sky Ocean Rescue [a campaign to encourage people to reduce their single-use plastic use] with a giant plastic humpback whale named Poly . A survey has found that 85% of Irish people are concerned by Ireland’s plastic usage. What Sky has to do with any of this is a mystery that may never be solved.

Free to air is the only way to go. Stream the rest. Cut the cord few years back and would never ever go back to pay tv.

I guess they are trying to get people thinking about and talking about our plastic usage and polution. They (Sky) probably have dirt themselves on abuse of plastics in their past, but at least its something positive from an otherwise prick-like brand. How is Rupert still alive? He really is the real life version of Monty Burns.

Note careful image cropping to ensure the Poolbeg incinerator is not shown. The one way to get rid of rubbish off the beach… and that dress….
