Two fantastic examples of our ‘Nationals’ – makes me feel all warm, fuzzy and proud.

  1. Brother Barnabas

why is it that the loudest and proudest nationalists tend almost invariably to be the worst examples of that nationality?

So are the wages (as well as conditions and rights) for a lot of people. It doesn’t excuse skanky racist ranters tho.

        1. TheRealJane

No indeed, I wouldn’t for a moment suggest that. But I notice there’s a tendency among a certain element to insist that there’s a lazy cohort of wasters

They’ll probably be moved on by the Gardai, but the goreporn fetishists in ICBR get to stay…

I met these two Journal commenting types on the DART. Going on about how Brexit was a right kick in the face for the EU “straight banana shower” and their “agents” in Dublin.

    Both smelt of wee.

Alternatively, could be the Fair City wardrobe department.

    Why aren’t THEY working?

Bob is on telly tonight with Paul Whitehouse. A show about fishing. 10pm BBC 2.

  4. Dinny Do Well?

What else would you be going while waiting to go on at the Macgill Summer School, anyway? At least these two hit the gender balance right.

    I think.

  5. edalicious

It looks they come from a long line of people who didn’t stray too far from “their own”.

Judging from appearances, they’re backed by a sophisticated overseas right-wing conspiracy. That sign may well have been crafted by the Bilderberg Group themselves.

  7. Rob

These two (or maybe he just happens to be beside her when the photo was taken) make for a great anti racism poster.

  8. Papi

I’m just quite amazed it is spelled correctly. I’d expect Nashunal’s or something, so top marks, really. And, having seen that delightful Indian lady yesterday, I’m totally ok with a 2 for 1 swop.

out where? of the building behind her? out into the sunshine? out to Bray for a walk along the beach?

    1. Spaghetti Hoop

Maybe she means foreign cigarettes. Hence the slick demo from her lovely assistant.

Setting up a bit of a straw man, aren’t you? There is a debate to be had about immigration. It’s likely to increase substantially post-Brexit, and the housing market is already stressed beyond its limits. But, hey, why entertain any sort of rational discussion when we can just ridicule this pair of unfortunates.

    1. Rob_G

While there may be a debate to be held around migration, I think that most people would agree that “all non-nationals out” is a bit of a weak argument.

    2. george

They’re morons not unfortunates. Immigration is not the problem. Ireland relies on migration both in an out of the country.

      1. TheRealJane

Also, the whole “there’s a problem – we must have a debate” thing. What debate? If the terms of the debate start from the premis that it’s a problem, then the only debate left is how to best punish/demonise other people.

The more I think about this, the less appropriate it seems. These women could easily have serious mental health issues and it’s wrong to subject them to this sort of ridicule and abuse.

    1. Riz

But why are you suggesting they might possibly have mental health issues? Not just run-of-the-mill mental health issues but “serious” mental health issues. Is it because you looked at the photo and, much like the rest of us, decided they looked barking mad with their sign written in lipstick on cardboard?

They deserve this kind of ridicule (I wouldn’t call it abuse) because they are ridiculous. You deserve to be called out on your virtue signalling.

    2. Nigel

They may have mental health problems. Lots of people do. None of them deserve to be made fun of for it. Most of them aren’t racists. Some people make fun of racists. Others vote them into positions of power and influence. Before you know it these two could rise on a wave of free speech trolling, triggering snowflakes, telling it like it is, eirexit and rebuking the deep state globalist elite. Endorsed by John Waters.

  12. Weezer

It always make me uncomfortable to showcase these people, in the same way X-Factor used to make fun of people with no talent and no clue. You have to assume they’re not at all well, surely.

At least they have each other.

  13. Riz

Yer one on the left looks like she’s a photo of Farage mid-yawn. A “farage yawn” reminds me of Morris’ “Shatner’s basoon”

  14. Scundered

Talk to most old people and they will say the same, though most of them wouldn’t dare voice it in public, we should be looking into why they feel this way instead of just ridiculing them for having this opinion.
