What would you like to call them Olga? Troubled teens with social issues? Sure god love them they’re only doing a wee bit of intimidation and vandalism, let’s not be mean to them [insert roll eye emoji here if there was one].

She’s upset at being a Northsider.

Joking aside, a proper transport force. And not trainee Garda just out of Templemore, you want the big Gods of men who patrol the Luas the odd time.
Get the finger out Shane. You are quick enough when Gay Byrne wants something implemented.

it is bandit country. and the next time i get mugged there I’ll be sure to tell my attackers that they should behave as this is an area steeped in literary heritage. I can’t wait to see the embarassment on their faces.

yea it’s plush. so is Clontarf, Sutton etc. but that’s not where theyre talking about. the rougher parts are rougher than the rough parts of the south.

Eh Olga. It was one driver said it (at least in the bit that’s photoed in your tweet). One driver does not “spokespeople from our national rail service” make. I’m from that side of town. Whatever about how some of them express themselves, I’d support the drivers and the vast majority of ordinary passengers in getting something done about anti-social behaviour on the Dart.

Not by cutting off the service and making ridiculous comments about a huge area of Dublin over a small number of incidents.

If theres banditry in the area does that not make it the very definition of bandit country? Seems fairly accurate.

Why are the little gits attacking DART drivers? They have no money onboard to rob, I never heard this story until now. It doesn’t make sense

Judged by that list Raheny and beyond’s literary heritage is rather a grandiose claim.
