A very pleasingly rendered fantasy about loss, separation and a one-armed astronaut by Nicolas Menard – a masters student at the Royal College of Art. Menard has a background in print – hence the colour palette and economy of the animation style.

Commander Chris Hadfield tweeted this picture of Berlin from the ISS on Wednesday – the east/west division still visible, apparently due to the different lightbulbs in use on either side of the city.
Commander Hadfield takes us through his bedtime routine on the International Space Station.
