Former senator Ivor Callely has been refunded €15,000 he was due to be paid in expenses during his suspension from the Seanad and is to receive a further €39,000 in coming days.
It comes after the former Dublin North-Central politician launched a new website, rebranding himself as a man with “a keen business sense” who is “at the cutting edge of the current economic challenges”.
