The scene where a truck crashed into the Liffey Bridge last night. The driver was not seriously injured and the lorry was removed. Diversions remain in place.

“Dublin City Council is looking for a name for the bridge at Marlborough Street that will service the Luas link-up and other forms of public transport.”
“A final shortlist of five names will be put to a vote at a full council meeting in September.”
“The names for consideration are: Willie Bermingham, founder of the Alone charity; Frank Duff, founder of the Legion of Mary; Rosie Hackett, an Irish Citizen Army activist; camogie player Kay Mills and novelist Bram Stoker.”
