Thursday November 3: DJ Shadow, Mount Kimbie, Kormac live AV @ The Shelbourne Hall, RDS(€39.50)

Nialler9 writes:

There’s lots of good music on offer of an electronic, alternative and hip-hop nature at the second annual Metropolis festival (Moderat, Clams Casino, Jessy Lanza, Sugar Hill Gang, Grace Jones, Booka Shade) but the opening party’s standalone lineup is solid with DJ Shadow headlining with a set drawn from new album and Endtroducing remixes along with UK duo Mount Kimbie and Dublin’s own DJ Kormac doing his live A/V thing.

Would you like to see it come true?

Producer Anna Taylor writes:

Metropolis will take place at a major Dublin cinema from 24 to 27 September, and will bring some of the best science fiction, fantasy and cult films from around the globe. That means we need you, your generosity and your enthusiasm to help spread the word, and for you to come and enjoy the festival. Your contribution [link below], no matter how small, will help make this festival a reality. .May the force be with you! Let us boldly go where no Dublin film festival has gone before.
