“As part of Pieta House’s Mind Our Men campaign and With Men In Mind event last Wednesday, November 19th, artist Joe Caslin installed a massive drawing on the front façade of the Powerscourt Centre, South William Street which was completed in the early hours of Monday morning. The piece took two weekends to complete and will be up over the next 10 days.”

Chewy sez:

Myself and a few friends are organising a big Christmas party in aid of Pieta House this Sunday in Dublin’s Button Factory. It’s a DFA/LCD themed night called All My Friends and we are billing it as a Christmas party for mates. Time to take stock and be thankful for one another and at the same time remember friends who can’t be here. There will be live music from Benny Smiles and Sleep Thieves and a special DFA/LCD set from The Disco Brunch DJs and Colin Perkins. I know a few of your readers have an interest in both Pieta and good gigs so figured you may like this…

€5 donation at the door.

We’re doing this in aid of Pieta House, the suicide and self harm centre.. On average the cost of saving a life is €1000 according to Pieta House. This is average, sometimes more, sometimes less. We’re aiming for €2,000 between us.
