I am competing for a much sought after Full Scholarship to the Prestigious Vancouver Film School to study Visual Effects. I am a Dublin based designer. Getting votes is a huge part of this competition. I hope you like it. Darren Aronofsky‘s Black Swan doesn’t really look like an effects-heavy movie. But the gritty psycho-drama uses all manner of technical tricks to enhance the sense of paranoia and disorientation experienced by Natalie Portman’s character, as evidenced by this new VFX demo reel.

Effects that – even if you’ve seen the movie – you may not have noticed.
