Met Eireann is forecasting snow four days in a row this week with temperatures dropping to as low as -3C in a drastic weather change.

The forecast comes as the weather event that was responsible for Ireland’s Beast from the East in 2018 is predicted to happen again in the next few days.

We are on course to see rainfall records for February being broken at some stations in Ireland. Rainfall amounts in the western half of Ireland are almost three times greater than those recorded in the east so far this month.

Meanwhile, the Status Yellow snow/ice warning for the whole country continues until midnight tonight, while a Status Yellow wind warning continues for Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo, Clare and Kerry until 8pm tonight.

This morning.

Met Éireann issued a Status Yellow wind warning for the whole country for tomorrow from noon until midnight.

It also issued a Status Yellow rain warning for Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow, Cork, Kerry, Tipperary and Waterford from 4am tomorrow morning until 7pm tomorrow evening.
