The first video shows what happens when water droplets are applied to a superhyrdrophobic surface (in this case, paper rubbed with aerogel powder).
The second shows two 2-4mm droplets from the first experiment, now coated with hydrophobic material, (waterproofed water droplets) refusing to unify.
