A silent film (flickering caused by deterioration) from 1909 – the only know footage of the great American author.

Shot by Twain’s friend, filmmaking pioneer Thomas Edison as his subject walks around his Stormfield Connecticut home, smoking and chatting with daughters Clara and Jean in his signature white suit about a year before his death.
