The lad lives in Athlone at present and travels back 3 time a week for training with Crokes, well usually he is currently injured and this would cheer him up no end! He of course will be at the game.
Brian McNamara: “I would like to give the Up The Dubs tee to Alan (me Da) because after all the years of taking me and my brother to the Hill [16] and teaching us that quick witted genius that you can only hear there, he can no longer go as he now lives in Co. Clare taking care of a loved one. He watches every game with his heart in his mouth and he deserves it. UP THE DUBS!”
