Peace activist, Alliance Party member and founder of Queen’s University Belfast Palestine Solidarity Society, Gary Spedding at Ben Gurion airport, Tel Aviv earlier following his deportation.
The British embassy was told Mr Spedding, 23, was a threat to Israel because “he was very popular on the social networks and could start demonstrations if allowed into the country”.
