I’m sure Simon means well.
“A referendum on whether Ireland should stay in the United Kingdom” – fixed grammar. Still bollox though.
Next line, “People of Northern ln Ireland wish to remain in the UK”.
Nothing to see here other than tl;Dr ADD in motion.
And someone who doesn’t know what the official name of the state is…
Someone was watching Dave Gorman lastnight :-)
Why? What happened on Dave Gorman last night? (please tell me)
Ah bless, the simple lack of understanding of what is pretty much a (now fizzling out) civil war in the UK by the vast bulk of their population…
Federalised UK, would almost inevitably lead to a united Ireland joining it, the increase in scale would only be beneficial. Even more so if UK leaves the EU which is increasingly likely
So if (big if) the UK leaves the EU, Ireland will also leave the EU and join with the UK….. yes and if then if ISIS tidy up their human rights record, they will replace Ireland and the UK in the EU and Santa will be Commissioner for presents.
And comments like that are so helpful to lower tension in the north. Clever.
There might be a lot less tension up there if the Unionists realised that they actually aren’t *wanted* by most of the people they claim to be loyal to.
+1
Has Simon completed his GCSEs in geography yet?
Refurendum?
From the apalling wording of the motion, and also the fact that they wrote “Ireland” when “Northern Ireland” was called for, this petition is clearly being organised by a moron.
Unlike the country, this sentence could use a bloody period.
