yeah whats the issue here? presumably it helps for identification from above eg from garda helicopter.

Letters are used to recognise car by garda helicoptors.

Tweddle Dumb appears more apt pseudonym thanTweedle Dee for the OP.

This annoys me. I get that people might construe it and use it as a hate word and I’d be hesitant to use it, but really its just a contraction in the same way that ‘dub’ is.

Again, I know its probably offensive but it’s one of those words that really should be about context rather than verboten.

I’ve been pointing my remote control at that picture for ten minutes trying to get channel 108 with no success.
    This country is a SHAMBLES.

Ah there was a one liner to do with broadcasting rights and Garda TV coverage of the game that wasn’t included, that would have put the pic in perspective.

I’d imagine the letters on the cars are in relation to which station or division is from.

T (Tango) is for Traffic (also radio call signs)

I could be wrong but just guessing as the last one of these posted the U in UK seemed relevant to where the picture was taken.

I understand that there’s simpletons that might not understand what call signs are and might submit this, and i also understand that there was a bit of mileage to be had out of the UK one in a ‘was it for this’ sort of way.

But why even bother publishing this?

One village bobby has been driving around, blissfully unaware of the large cock and balls plastered on his roof. The Garda helicopter unit is unfortunately full of “lads” who enjoy “banter”.

BS actually posted two of these? Ah now. Whats next, the alphabet ala Grampa Simpson?
