“He’s Very Nervous”

And devilishly handsome.

Gavin Fogarty writes:

I know you don’t normally do this, but our lovely cat, George, didn’t come home to our apartment on North Circular Road yesterday afternoon. He is neutered and microchipped but, as he was a rescue cat, he’s very nervous, so best to let us know if you see him. I know there are more important things in life than missing cats, but he means a lot to us…

If you haven’t already, plaster the area in posters……worked for me when my cat was missing for 5 days.

I really hope George comes home soon before all the fireworks start going off. Contact the DSPCA and the local vets as someone may have notified them. The fact that he is microchipped is a big help. Fingers crossed.

Thanks guys, will do. He never goes more than 15feet from the front door, so yes I would say a firework spooked him.

Also go door to door to all your neighbours. If they are not there post something in their letter box. He could be accidentally locked in a shed or a garage. That happened to my cat, accidentally locked in a neighbour’s coal shed and then they went on holiday for a week. The poor cat was so thin (and filthy dirty) when he eventually found his way home after the shocked neighbours discovered him after their holiday.

Don’t give up hope, our little kitty was found after 5 weeks on the street. She was a 15 minute walk from our house. Hope he comes back, lovely cat!

Did he turn up? Its also worth letting local cat rescues / vets know – some of them have lost cat sections on their websites. Our cat recently got found after a month (through the microchip), so even if he is still missing there is still hope.
