Why is it controversial?
Students complaining that the campus was unfinished. Maybe the missing sign was all it was.
They were more focussed on central heating, bins, and transport to such an isolated part of town. + 1 for the classic “moany students are moany” comment though. You’ve the formula down to a T.
Man, I’d hate to be able to see what’s clearly a throwaway joke and take offence and get uppity about it. I would hate to be like that. So much.
Er… it’s about 5 minutes from a Luas stop. In what way is this a more isolated location that DCU or UCD?
5 Minutes from Smithfield Luas stop and 5 minutes from a load of bus routes that run via the North Circular Road, Manor Street and the Phibsborough road (10 minutes away)…you’d have to be a special kind of lazy f*ck to think thats isolated
I mean try getting to UCD living in Swords or Celbridge, or DCU from Tallaght or Dun Laoghaire.
Isolated part of town ? It’s a 10 minute walk from Bolton Street, did they have trouble getting there too ?
So long story short, it’s not controversial??
“Isolated part of town”?
Christ you need to leave Dublin.
Residents in the area have been very unhappy with the works for months…blocking roads, 24 hour works etc to get the place ready. Don’t think the students were too happy with it but then, when are students ever happy about anything!!!!
If I was going to be pedantic, I’d point out that it should read “Gráinseach Ghormáin”.
Absolutely monstrous direct from the dictionary Gaeilge in any case though.
What should be contreversial is that a few lads putting up a sign is news!
