    still at least they’re busy bullying the citizens of ireland to protect private interests

    Don’t know the ins and outs of this despite massive media coverage (or because of) but, what the hell did this man do to piss the guards off so much!

      Well, he might have murdered her. I dunno.
      Either way, that was one clusterfupp of a fuppup all round by the Gardaí.

      I don’t know a whole lot myself, but from what I’ve read it seems a simple case of the guards not wanting to admit they got the wrong man, so they did everything they could to fit him up. Sadly happens an awful lot around the world.

      Well y’see he had a history of extreme violence towards his partner, he had scratch marks on his arms and he was given to howling at the moon occasionally (seriously)
      Other than that, I cant figger out why the Guards took an interest in him.
