Forgetful Fidelma will be giving them a seminar on house refurbishments without paying for them, loop holes in car tax and how not to dodge train fares.

At least she’ll be speaking from experience.

Would probably win more of anything than ed milliband. Jesus wept it’s like he’s a hapless clown crossed with a Tory double agent.

Serves the labour electorate right for voting him as party leader ahead of his far more experienced, professional, charismatic brother

I kind of thought that at the time. And even though I subsequently remembered he was one of slimey little blair’s henchlings, even he would have been better than this guy.

No one put up the Sindo?
7 Sinn Fein stories on the front of the .ie, including “that joke”…

In reference to Michael Collins, the War of Independence leader, Mr Adams said: “Mick Collins’ response to the Independent’s criticism of the fight for freedom was to dispatch volunteers to the Independent’s offices. They held the editor at gunpoint and then dismantled and destroyed the entire printing machinery! Now I’m obviously not advocating that…”

Not to mention the pretentious and tasteless editorial from Anne Harris, not about water charges, the issue on most people’s minds but the SF fund-raising dinner in New York. The Sindo plumbs the depths of its pisspoor journalism to go grave-robbing to exploit the bravery of Veronica Guerin, dragging her memory into its tawdry display of baseless outrage towards the Shinners. Does the public really want another score of articles (it was 23 last week apparently) on the Shinners when we’re all at sea with water charges.

Oh, and remember a couple of months back when Ms Harris amended an editorial in which she said Denis O’Brien controlled the paper? (If not, it’s all here – http://thestory.ie/2014/07/20/why-was-the-anne-harris-sunday-independent-column-modified/) Maybe someone at the Sindo could amend this piece of misdirecting sh*te today to correct the spelling of “omitted”

“The Sindo plumbs the depths of its pisspoor journalism to go grave-robbing to exploit the bravery of Veronica Guerin, dragging her memory into its tawdry display of baseless outrage towards the Shinners. ”

I remember Eoghan Harris once writing an obituary saying how the dead person on his deathbed congratulated him for something about Shinner – he did his b*llocks.

Also, this attack on the Independent Newspapers sounds like when they tried to rally round Niamh Horan when some other newspaper guy offended her. The Sunday Times guy?

It was laughable to think anyone cared.

Fact is, the readership of the Sindo are too stupid to know that they’re meant to be thinking how their columnists want them to think.

I wouldn’t wipe my worst enemy’s arse with the Indo, but Gerry Adams should not be telling rosy little anecdotes about republicans intimidating their critics, and the paper is right to call him on it

Re: The UK Independent front page.

I sure hope the British media never paint the Russians (or Scottish) as mindless nationalists ever again.

    Ridiculous.
