While I was passing, I asked a council worker who was turning the lights on. He said the Rudeboys were playing and that Elmo was turning the lights on. Anyone know?

I’m assuming Elmo from love/hate and not the loveable character from Sesame street.

Although a stuffed puppet is a darn sight better than a Brian Ormond/Glenda Gilson or any other Z list who have to pay for their own taxi ride to RTE. Or God forbid, a Brunker.

      +1

I really don’t think the people who bitch about the lights being on too early do much of a walking-commute – it’s feckin missssserable without the lights.

Christmas jumper world record attempt on O’Connel St on Nov 30th…. just the thing to get the cynics and miserics giving out around here :)

    When’s the #NOFunNOMore #EverthingIsShit rally on?
