I thought so too. And then I thought – hang on – it’s a ‘handicapped’ space and also it’s implying the person who parked the car is ‘a bit handicapped’. Do we not use the term ‘disabled’ now instead of ‘handicapped’? Also is it not a bit insensitive implying someone is ‘a bit handicapped’. Like it was a description of stupidity?
PC bollix is handicapped though.
I played squash for years, and when you played against lower level players they got a handicap. Doesn’t golf do similar? If they got disabled points.. now that’d be an insult.
