As the Monica Leech story again proved, court cases can be verrrrrry (too) expensive.
As soon as FG politicians started saying ‘Nothing to see here’ when this story broke, it was obvious which party the alleged offenders were from.
Unfortunately, I think these alleged crooks have little to worry about: this is a complicated financial wheeze from years ago, involving what are now retired old politicians. There’s nothing sexy for the media to report on here, so it’ll probably fade away as long as FG can delay and obfuscate.
