Apparently, the nutter in the shop wants the brothers to be allowed to go free.
I’d say he just wants rid of them cos they’re not buying anything.
Co-ordinated attacks? This must be really straining the police force. Do neighbouring countries offer to help at times of high alert I wonder?
I’m sure every European country has been sharing intelligence and resources since the first incident started.
In terms of manpower and people on the ground though, I don’t think there’s any treaty that allows a police force from one country to have any authority whatever in another country.
I don’t think the ‘live’ situation is actually that taxing on their man power. Id imagin what stretches staff is the monitoring other people, being stationed at monuments / embassies / public buildings, for the next number of weeks / months. Maybe thats what you meant?
It was what I meant. – not the actual shooting.
deafening cries from the moderate muslims to end this senseless..erm, no.
You haven’t been watching any of the news then. Back in your box.
+1
Loads of them condemning it on many news channels last night.
But, there’s a problem in France, in that there is no overall group / association that speaks on behalf of all resident Muslims of France like they have in the UK (and here to some extent) according to CH4 News yesterday.
The “but moderate muslims wah wah” cry really p**** me off. These people are extremists, they clearly do not represent any one who is not an extremist. If only idiots would get that through their head. Or do they want a Muslim on every corner, apologising just in case?
True, a bit like suggesting Youth Defence or Iona Institute speak on behalf of all Christians, which would be nuts.
The problem is that Youth Defence and Iona Institute seem to believe they do.
And there is a group who were one of the first to condemn the attacks
