Claire Byrne LIVE!

(With a pre-recorded bit)

Laura Fitzgerald writes:

Actor Colin Farrell is to appear on the first Claire Byrne Live to discuss the issue of same-sex marriage. In his first broadcast interview on the issue, Colin Farrell recorded the interview with Claire via satellite link from L.A. It will be broadcast tonight at 10.35pm on RTÉ One. The Irish actor, who’s brother Eamon is gay, is a supporter of same-sex marriage.
The programme will have a range of guests and audience members from all sides of the debate live in studio to discuss the topic of same-sex marriage as well as a live interview with Dr Sharon James of Coalition for Marriage who campaigned against the introduction of same-sex marriage in the UK.

Over to you Vincent.

FIGHT!

Tonight at 10.35pm on RTÉ One.

Positively wetting themselves trying to emphasise the “balance”. Fifty says it will be a painful artificial load of old shite and the bigots will *still* complain.

Seriously was that set designed by a 12 year old. I can see it now in the RTE production meeting “Lets have a serious balanced debate with an actor and a homophobic “doctor” in a set that looks like part of a torn movie with fonts that only middle age conservatives think are edgy”.

I keep misreading the homograph of “live” and seeing this as some sort of entreaty.

    “Live, Claire Byrne. Live!”

I’ll hold my thoughts until I see her on a Sunday morn in her pj’s walking the dog, a la Sharon.

The latest establishment mouth-piece blonde, fully briefed on how to sound chastising when interviewing any politicians of the left.

More of the same from RTE. No change here.

That set! My eyes! Are RTE’s set designers on drugs? Late late set is also bizarre…as one wag put it ‘It looks like the inside of a colon’.

The show is a simple rehashed amalgam of Primetime and Questions and Answers fronted by RTE’s golden girl. Netflix it is so, again.

That set is the Kenny Live and Today Tonight bits n bobs being upcycled.

FFS. Upcycle. WTF came up with that

Sames as Vintage for second hand shit
