cianCian Healy and his Land Rover Defender

‘WindowLicker’ asks:

Ireland and Leinster rugby prop Cian Healy faces prosecution for having tinted windows on his  all-terrain Land Rover Defender. I discovered this image (via Balls.ie) from March 2013. They don’t look very tinted to me. Did he have special  ones put in?

Anyone?

the arrow points to the rear passenger window – as far as i know, the regulations only apply to the windcreen and front windows; neither of which are very visible.

Yeah, it only applies to the front windows. You can have tints, but they have to let a certain percentage of light in.

He nearly ploughed over me in that thing at a narrow hotel exit (he was entering at pace) and I do recall not being able to see in til we were along side each other. Needless to say I just pretended to be staring down a spot on my window when I saw it was him and Jamie Heaslip inside.

dope always parks outside the shelbourne about 2 feet away from the curb. he must live in a mud hut in the jungle because if hes not then i hope the aids gets him

I seen him get stuck on a hill in the other needlessly big offroader he had before the land rover, there was a garda directing traffic and kept shouting an Cian to put it in 4WD but he didn’t know how to do it and kept sliding backwards like a pleb. Eventually the garda drove it up the hill for him.

Im being charged with murdering my wife, but I have a photo from last year where shes still alive.

Do I get the pardon too or is this just for the rugger buggers?

You can’t clamp it because the wheels are too big… so he can park anywhere he wants, except in multistory car parks, because it can’t fit in.

      Not true actually.
I asked a nice gentleman about that very rumour when he was unclamping my own car a while ago, and he confirmed that they have special clamps, just for clown vehicles like the one above.

You mean he drives this thing around Dublin – not just at times of snow, floods, massive earthquake or landslide?
