5th Element & DoubleScreen – Faces (Trench Road)

A just released epic from Ballymun-based hip-hop group 5th Element set around the lyrical talents of Ger Kellett and Ryan ‘Linco’ Lincoln and featuring producer DoubleScreen.

Ger sez:

“I feel over the last couple of months we’ve been making a transition into a new type of style for us. This new single is a more mature and experimental type of track and we are looking forward to seeing how people react to it”

Linco sez:

“Looking at most original and successful artists, there comes a point when its time to make creative decisions and have the courage to try take some things in a different direction. That’s what the new project is for us.”

I’m not a fan of big balls rap and whoever done those young ones make up needs to address their OCD but that is very good.

Where is the flow? This isn’t rap it’s just saying words over music. If that was the point then fair dues.
