The Simpson’s died 15 years ago. It’s been crap for longer than it was good.

Presumably when you die all people will do is criticise something you co-created years before that’s lost its quality of late. Although your thing would probably have been crap in the first place.
His Twitter feed is very poignant. Particularly the picture of him having his lungs drained.
Cancer is frightening.
I too find that anything I liked as a child became crap on my 13th birthday. Except the A Team, of course.
