    Power ranger?

Why complain about provincial and small town (pathetic) parades – isn’t that where people choose to live? Part of the package.

      Hear Hoop !
You can keep your fancy Dublin floats and your imported fancy participants, provincial parades are the best ! :)

Although I have no idea what I’m supposed to be seeing in that pic, bar the Power Ranger… is it a Down V Tyrone with Ireland in the middle thing?

All relative…. compared to NYC, Tokyo and Mexico City, your small town (assuming you live in Dublin) is pretty pathetic…. But you choose to live there…..

Mighty Morphin Power Ranger is great to say in a Cavan, Monaghan or Louth accent.

Hahahahaha! Typical Irish parade indeed. Marching band joined by some man in a crazy costume. All we need now is a tractor towing a bunch of school kids.

Tractors and cars from the local dealership are what I remember of the Ardee parade when I was a kid, fadó. But there was always Ardee Boys Band

Times are tough for Power Rangers now the TV work has dried up.

Surely there’s a half deflated Mr. Blobby following behind. Wouldn’t be a culchie parade without one! I want my local parade to go one step further and have a Power Ranger playing in the band.

Better than the parades over here which are just big Catholic marches. Marching bands, IRA-donators and zero craic by comparison to back home.
