    How fupping DARE those teachers want paid leave for getting beaten while in class. Do they not watch Top Gear. Irish people should expected to get a few thumps in work. They’ll want to be gettin a fair wage next.

    I wonder if the same terms will apply to SNAs.

    Honestly, they should be paid when out sick or out due to injuries but with regard to young people with challenging behaviour and special needs, there is an element of that just being part of the job.

      Perhaps there should be some training in TAG teaching, though…
