What you may need to know:
1. BBC event series ALERT!
2. It’s based on the book by Susanna Clarke. Which you should read immediately.
3. Who doesn’t love Eddie Marsan? We want him to do a buddy comedy with Stephen Graham.
4. Marsan has worked with Martin Scorsese, Michael Mann, Steven Spielberg, Terrence Malick, Woody Allen, Alejandro González Iñárritu, J.J. Abrams, Peter Berg, Guy Ritchie, Richard Linklater AND Mike Leigh. Seriously. More importantly, he was also in Grange Hill.
5. @ ’16 Anyone remember Dennis Pennis?
6. Broadsheet Prognosis: Does anyone even go to the movies any more?
Release date: Coming soon.

Looks great. the book was really good, hopefully the series lives up to it.
I loved that book, especially the two page footnote.
The footnotes are the best part.
Ye should get yizzer hands on Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace. Even the footnotes have footnotes.

Surprising that it’s taken this long to adapt the book. Looks good.
Dennis Pennis is in it too…
No he’s not.
He is you know http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0443373/?ref_=ttfc_fc_cl_t9
Hate to be pedantic but that’s Paul Kaye you are referring to. He’s playing a character in the film that certainly isn’t Dennis Pennis.
K… based on your literal interpretation of my joke, I’ll hang up the auld comedy boots :(
Denis Pennis was in Game of Thrones as well so he was. And that Kaye fella.
1000 Acres of Skye: he was in that too. I used to really like that series.
chills, i have chills. I LOVE this book. Though he’s not as handsome a Strange as I’d imagined. I’m nervous though — it’d be very easy to f*pp this up.
You have chills, they’re multiplying !
You’d better shape up !
I don’t like Eddie Marsan…… JOKING! Course I do, he’s great.
He was great in “Ray Donovan” which was otherwise a bit underwhelming I thought.
I read the book and cannot remember one thing about it. I’ll watch the series with a blank mind. As per uje.
I hate when they say ‘coming soon’. Tell us when so we can series link it/put a reminder on.
