So, will the same people who had a go at Ger Brennan this morning now have a go at these public figures in a similar vein – “Who are they anyway?” etc.

I think if Frank McGuinness had the presumption of togging out for the Dubs at Croke Park, a few would wonder whether it was sensible for a man of letters to be trading places with an athlete without the adequate training or experience.
There’s no way Frank McGuinness would get a game.. not since Eamon Fennell left the panel anyway.
If they start saying “Vote Yes for the sake of the children” then there probably will be people having a go at them.
