Ah, the arm around shoulder pretending to be buddies while making fun move. The go-to move for bullies since the dawn of time.

Yeah, the poor innocent bloke with the sign is just minding his business doing no harm to nobody.

The drop comes from a rise in the don’t knows not an increase in no voters. It would be interesting to see why voters have gone that way ie has mixing up SSM with surrogacy etc had an effect? Are they no voters who are saying don’t know because whatever?

53%, 24% No. That looks like a safe lead to me. The don’t knows will not go 100% to no, most will probably not vote.

I was brought up by my mother and father who had and still have a happy marriage.

As 84% of the population identify as Catholic, the referendum has no chance. The actual result should mean the Government take education away from the religious nuts.

The same Catholocism who’s book of rules says you should be nice to everyone and not judge anyone else and accept people no matter how different?

Did the last census not state that the majority now define themselves as “non-religious”?

The one armed lad would have to drop the sign to fight him off, he’s the lesser of two evils in fairness….

I think that guy’s come up to me and friends when we do the Abortion Rights Campaign stall and demand we repent and find God. Usually carries a giant yellow JOHN 3:16 sign.
