Wrong in what way Dukes, he got a rate of 1.26% instead of 1.25%?
& that’s the point Lilly legally if DOB team can show the information is wrong, publishing the Daíl events of last week is a non runner I suspect the rate is low but not lower than 3%. Sadly whoever leaked the info appears to have tampered with it to make it appear even more generous than it actually was

If [redacted] wants to clear his name show his evidence. Sending solicitors letters is the tactics of the guilty.
What if his legal team produce evidence to court that shows the statement in the Daíl is not correct and a judge keeps the injunction on those grounds.
We still won’t know what the interest rate is but we will know that the Daíl statement was wrong? Where would this leave the situation?
The injunction will be deemed not to apply to comments made in the Dail irrespective of their accuracy. The court can’t override Dail privilege.
But here is the nub of the issue of the information is false than Catherine Murphy has abused Daíl price large? The right to Daíl privilege comes with some responsibility
Even if the information proves false, and an abuse of dáil privilege has taken place, it can still be reported on, which is the the matter at hand today.
Fergus, than Mrs Murphy is guilty of abuse of Daíl privilege and must be held accountable for her actions
Unless she deliberately adjusted the facts, no.
The onus is on O’ Brien and his goons to show she’s wrong.
Whether she needs to be held accountable for abuse of Dáil privilege or not remains to be seen.
In any case, that’s not the matter in hand today. The matter in hand regards whether the info disclosed in the dáil can legally be reported on or not, and of course it should be.
Fergus of course it should be reported but that info should also be accurate and correct when entered to Daíl record, especially when it is relating to an Irish citizens reputation
If the info presented in the Dáil is incorrect, I’m sure Dinny has the means to show this. All he’s done thus far is state that it’s incorrect, but if he wants to retain his impeccable/ clean as a whistle/ saintlike reputation, he’ll need to do more than that. Maybe perform a miracle. Make Enda build an arc to aid their escape when it all comes out in the big wash.

He’s claiming that he has made it clear that Catherine Murphy’s info is incorrect.
Where has he made it clear exactly? Typical blue-shirt definition of clarity at work here.
Also, he’s still using Mary Lou’s incorrect revelation under Dáil privilege as a comparable event. BUT THAT WAS REPORTED ON DOBBY, and I’m not aware of anyone trying to inhibit the process in that case.

us what the terms of the loans he got from IBRC for his commerial entites, they are not private personal loans, they are for companies with the status limited liability Siteserv, Topaz, and INM are limited companies, the latter with stockmarket listing, the loans are from a state bank in liquidation, baled out by the taxpayer to the tune of 10’s of billions, the irony of it, is that O’Brien has residency status in is it Malta, what tax does he pay in Ireland, any chance that Dennis or James Morrisey would fill us it in.

In the meantime Alan Dukes will tell us what we don’t know is none of our business.
Just noticed, he’s saying the figures were tampered with before RTE got them. So Catherine’s figures are the same figures that RTE were stopped from broadcasting.
Therefore deeming any insinuations of wrongdoing on the part of Catherine Murphy entirely incorrect.
Not that they were tampered with at all of course. He still hasn’t made any effort to disprove them.
Haha, having just read Denis O’Brien’s whinge in The Irish Times, I believe he paid us a visit here last night in the guise of ‘Francis Almond’!
