Yeah seriously the price for this yoke was a joke, €60 for 1 day?
not really a joke if you have an interest in a few of the acts playing.
i was interested in quite a few and it was great value for money.
i suppose if you’re just there for a day out then yeah, it was a bit pricey, although i don’t know why you’d go in the first place considering the amount of free event bandwagons you could have jumped on over the BH weekend….
More like 70 after fees.
The selling point was it being at the harbour but with the fences up we could have been at any nondescript car park in Ireland. A decent day out but not worth the money. An unusally large Garda presence also, though I’m sure that needs to happen if you want a festival license in Dun Laoghaire
I no follow.
What’s a Beatyard?
Also did Longford & Monaghan not vote also vote no for the Gays?
Ya, I thought the poster was a little stupid really. I can’t really remember the point of it either actually. If I’d stood a bit further back we’d know.
But ya, way too expensive for a day ticket to a festival. Good craic was had all the same.
There were a couple of small pockets of posh Dublin which voted No to the gays but nobody mentions those.
By “small pockets of posh dublin which voted no” do you mean “All of dublin voted overwhelmingly yes” ?
Seriously, shut up. Nobody mentions them because they don’t exist.
Longford voted no but was bailed out by westmeath.
Don’t just blame roscommon who voted no by a swing of 117 votes.
In fact just give it a rest.
The sheep put out
+1
It is not like it was a US Presidential election, where all the votes for that constituency went the way of the majority. It was a National vote, the constituencies were just a convenient way of counting the votes. Ireland voted Yes, that is all the matters.
Man on man, woman on woman. abhorrent.
Early bird tickets were cheaper than 60… Was it seriously 60 for one day?!
If you bought early bird tickets it’s was only €29 !
That’s what I decided I’d have been happy to pay for it actually. They couldn’t look you in the eye at the box office but we were going anyway cos we’re Public Service Broadcasting fanboys.
Dún Laoghaire.
The Bodytonic beatyard had an air of self righteous smugness about it you say? I don’t believe you.
The map is childish, hipster nonsense. Move on. 100s of 1000s voted no throughout the country, including Dublin. And Roscommon/Leitrim is not the Midlands. Those ‘pesky midlanders’ in Westmeath, Offaly, Laois, Longford all voted yes.
Beat us over the head with the gay stick.
