I find golf resorts incredibly tacky and populated by people with money but no class, no scruples, no consideration for anyone but their immediate peer group.
Seriously boring people who obsess about they appear to others.
i have exactly the same aversion to cocaine.
Never been to golf resort… I suppose it’s the equivalent of a package holiday for those with a few more bob and notions about themselves…. but I wouldn’t know, don’t play golf… do the German’s get up at 6am and hog the first tee?

you should give it a go. bring a hip flask and lots and lots of golf balls. and remember, if anyone asks you to ‘play through’ it means they want to touch your naughty bits and you should refuse with as many wild gesticulations as you can muster.
