      Less than 78,000 people speak Irish on a daily basis according to the most recent census – we’ve already gotten rid of it pretty much everywhere, bar the education system and a couple of parts of the state.

    Why is an American hosting the debate? Is that what the kids are doing to the English language never mind the Irish ? My ears bleed.

      The Feudal System was the best.
      You could be off your head on mushrooms and not care about confusing your sister with someone else’s.

      Simpler times.

    If we got rid of irish language, does that then mean, we would have to, ehh learn English, plain English that be.
