Ahhh what a lovely bit of culture right there.
Just not your culture so you make a snide remark about it.
Is abusing animals apart of your culture?
This is Broadsheet. Snide remarks and clique humour is mandatory.
Part of the culture.
Anyone know what the preview pic on the app relates to?
+1
None of them deserve to ride a horse for the way they were running them at the fences, Christ knows what those fupps do to animals when not on camera.
Ride them bareback?
bang on the mark
Lads ye can’t take away the trottin’ out of Ballinasloe Horsefair. You don’t gentriify every f* thing. The boys stood up for their traditions and they keyboardists will be here all night moanin’ in lame-ass internet cliches but fair balls to them for doing what is right.
Yeah I was thinking the same thing. The main thing that popped into my head is fair play to them. Might not be the way I would show my discontent, but it wouldn’t be too fair off.
Culture doesn’t excuse cruelty. Japanese dolphin slaughter, etc.
Cow tipping in Wisconsin
Factory farming…
Some star-quality drama-queening there
They did not show pictures from last years fair, where horses were run into the ground. There was accidents band horses were killed. That’s why it was stopped this year. Although I don’t think banning it is the answer. Trotting has become part of the Ballinasloe fair. Surely they can find a way to make it safer.
