What you may need to know:
1. State Trooper Lou Solverson (Patrick Wilson) investigates a triple homicide in Sioux Falls, Minnesota in 1979.
2. This is the same case mentioned by Lou Solverson (Keith Carradine) in season 1. Meta.
3. In addition to a stellar cast (Kirsten Dunst, Ted Danson, Meth Damon), season 2 also has an organised crime syndicate, UFOs and Bruce Campbell as Ronald Reagan. Well, okay then.
4. No Lorne Malvo though. Sadface.
5. In terms of murders per capita, Fargo has to be up there with Midsomer. Or Cabot Cove.
6. That story about Prince appearing in the movie? Not true.
7. Broadsheet prognosis: Even better than the first season.
Release Date: October 19 (Channel 4).

Great first episode.
Even though the characters seemed to be shoehorned into the original characters a bit too much. For example, there’s the hen pecked husband character, there’s the psycho, there’s the surprisingly tough woman character. But a few twists shook it up a bit.
The first series was great and this first episode has got me. Hope it only gets better.
SO GOOD SO GOOD SO GOOD!
Feck Malvo, The one I’ll miss this season is Allison Tomlon.
(And that’s not meta! That’s continuity!)
Best show from last year.
Tolman! Sorry.
YESSSSSSSSS!
I just associate that accent with quality viewing now.
Meth Damon’s packed em on hasn’t he.
Looks good. I thought BB Thornton was outstanding in the 1st series.
Loved this so much. Can’t wait for the next season.
Really enjoyed last season, and can’t wait for this one. The Minnesota accent is up there with my favourites.
Bruce Campbell you say? That’s convinced me. I would watch an 8 hour marathon of that man watching paint dry.
You got me
I dunno, seems alright maybe, kinda funny lookin’
Uh-huh. In what way?
