   “Mostly Irish lads in the restaurant. There was drink taken…” Eh sterotype much there JD? So that means it must have been an Irish lad that done it? Unless you were present at the actual incident JD, and then correctly verified the perpetrators nationality through looking at their passport or ID of some sort, then breathalysed said perpetrator, only then JD (if that’s your real initials) would it qualify you to make the above statement.

   Was in there on Sunday and asked about it. Ripped off on Saturday night.

   Just because the picture was taken on Sunday, doesn’t mean the sign was put up on Sunday.

   The fact that it’s also in French and the France – v – New Zealand match was on Saturday would lead an objective observer to believe the sign went up either on or before Saturday.

   Still could have been Irish fans but it’s not necessarily the logical conclusion given that we’re not aware of any similar incident of vandalism of this nature carried out by Irish rugby fans.

    Have to laugh at people jumping on the outrage bandwagon at any suggestion of stereotyping Irish people as drunks but who are all ‘fair enough’ when some say ‘Travelers are scum and can’t live here’.

    Not nice when the shoe is on the other foot.
