Yes, weird shaped carrots are normal. Straight orange ones are the weird ones.
Orange carrots only prevelant as bred to support William of Orange at the time by Dutch major carrot growers. ..
Odd ball shaped veg is normal. Supermarket veg has been sorted and graded and because people are mostly idiots, they remove odd shaped veg.
Its about easy peeling, rather than any mental defect, I would have thought.
Easier to pack and transport too.
Be careful, the Eu only like things to be in the shape we assume they should be.
