So ironic to read reports that they’re controlling wifi themselves this year and attenders are tweeting that it’s whiffy

At this stage, most people will be happy to see the back of it, if it means no more whinging on the airwaves from entitled buffoon, Paddy Cosgrave.

I know you’re joking, but the ploughing festival is much more important than this poo.
meadowlark
There’s less bullpoo at the Ploughing Championship too.

Vendors were told to prepare an €8 meal without knowing that websummit were going to charge €20.
Martin
the €20 food voucher thing was up on the WS site before it started, so vendors can easily hav ebeen aware.

I think Paddy’s really big but basic error in all of this was being too cute for his own good on the PR side of this. Their PR strategy has been shambolic, at best. They probably need to start thinking about hiring in external consultants to help them manage a lot of the non-event external stuff from now on. It’s no longer a small start-up style company. Mistakes like the ones he’s made our now stuff that shouldnt happen anymore.
Frida
It’d be a shame to get PR people involved. It’s always entertaining when bottomholes reveal themselves.
Wallander
Hmmm. Can’t seem to be able to draw a blame line to saint Paddy of Cosgrave.
